Mission & Charity
Do you support missions and charity work outside Ruach?
Yes. We partner with many different groups both in Australia and overseas. Click here for details of some of them.
Ruach churches are also very involved in their local communities, often in low key ways such as supporting individuals or families in need, performing acts of kindness and service, or volunteering with local organizations.
Do you run short term mission trips?
Yes we do, but generally these are in association with our mission partners and only open to members of Ruach. We also encourage individuals and groups to take advantage of more general mission opportunities offered by our partners and other organisations.
If you are interested in short or medium term mission opportunities some ministries you could consider include COHAD (Uganda), Watoto Childrens Ministries (Uganda), Hohidiai (Halmahera, East Indonesia), YWAM , IMLA (Northern Australia).
Youth & Children
Youth and children are important members of our church family. We believe that everyone has something to contribute to the life and ministry of the church regardless of age, gender, Christian maturity or experience. Youth & children are encouraged
to participate fully in the life of the church and express their faith in action.

Intergenerational relationships are something we value highly. Many of our house church groups, ministry opportunities and events include youth, children and adults ‘doing church’ together. We welcome and encourage the involvement of youth and children in our combined house church Celebration services.
Youth
High school age youth also have the opportunity to meet together on a Friday night, which includes youth-specific small groups as well as connecting as a larger group. They are involved as a group in camps, service projects, fun nights out and ministry.
Contact us for further information on current groups and activities.
Children
Depending on the nature and needs of the group, age specific teaching and activities are included for children in intergenerational house churches.
At Celebration services children spend time with both the wider congregation and separately in age appropriate groups.
